This is pretty much like a personal ad

, but I've been playing this game for several months and I have yet to find some decent pickup groups and so far, the gameworld seems to swarm with kids spamming one thing or another, claiming they performed one feat or another, and yet somehow cannot even seem to listen to a request to stop when the healer is low on energy...

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I have been looking to join a relatively mature guild of players who like to help each other out...no luck so far. I realize posting an ad to join an unknown guild will probably lead to failure, or perhaps propositions from people who aren't necessarily what I seek, but I'm getting really tired of playing solo the majority of the time, sp here goes:

If you are looking for a guildmate who fits the following criteria, please let me know:

- main toon is an ele/mes, but can switch secondaries of course

- plays pretty much daily, and is somewhere between experienced and dedicated, but not necessarily hardcore elite

- enjoys helping guildmates with their questing, but in return likes assistance to complete the more difficult mission bonuses and such

- relatively inexperienced with pvp, mostly into pve(ascended, etc.), but willing to do both

- not too chatty, listens well, and enjoys the intricacies of strategy used to accomplish goals in the game (ie. does not aggro a dozen mobs thinking the "Hulk SMASH!" mentality will prevail

- usually online daily from noon - 6pm PST, 11pm PST - 4am PST

If anyone's looking for a new guild member has a guild that fits these criteria, please let me know!

Interesting.

I only looked into this tread because before EVERY time i try I make a group I always say MATURE only.

You might be interested in our guild - it is only about 10 people but they are very polite and mature. We aren't (mostly) hardcore players - some of us work full-time.

From what you posted I *think* you might like our guild - keep in mind it is MUCH smaller then average guilds... and no plans to change that in the near future.

Our guild has about 15-20 members that are on pretty often. You can usually find someone or a complete group of guildies to help you out. We also schedule times on occassion to tackle some of the more difficult missions.

You need to check out some guild's websites. Some guilds have messed up sites, which is a pretty good indicator of a messed up guild. Others have a high guild ranking for GvG, but no forums. Good luck trying to communicate with those guilds.

well, I guess it is the wrong thread, but seeing how this is the area for explorers, it's not to far off. Anyway, I see you already have alot of options, but I thought I'd give you another one. We only have 6 members, but we are all very active, and don't plan to stop being active anytime soon. We don't support running or farming. Dumb names are not accepted ex. U B E R Warrior, Gaylord Fauker, etc... Anyway, we only plan to have 15-20 members max, perhaps more if their becomes a reason to have more, but, if your interested, look me up, would be more than happy to have another cool casual gamer in the guild. Oh, were also multi tasked, we don't focus on pvp or pve, just do whatever sparks our interest at the time. Goodluck
